Kristina Yee is an award-winning director, writer, animator, and illustrator from Northern California. She attended Harvard University where she studied Folklore and Mythology and was a cartoonist for the notorious Harvard Lampoon.
She earned her MA in Animation Direction from the National Film and Television School, UK. Her graduation film, "Miss Todd" won a Gold Medal at the 2013 Student Academy Awards and screened and won at prestigious festivals worldwide. "Miss Todd" has been adapted into a children's book, and is available on Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk, and book stores across the U.S..
Kristina currently lives in Dublin, Ireland, where she is developing several short form and feature-length projects for both animation and live-action. She has begun writing for children's television, and has recently completed a feature Western. Her second children's book, also co-written by Frances Poletti, is about Bobbi Gibb, the first woman to run the Boston marathon, and will be released in Spring 2017.
